Fine Art Prints

Finished Artwork for Sale

For those interested in purchasing a print that’s ready to hang, I’ve just added a few finished works to my store. These prints are mounted on aluminum die-bond, which makes the print appear to “float” off the wall. There is no glass, so there is no glare, which makes them great for bright areas. Local pickup in Victoria is free. For shipping costs elsewhere, please contact me at prints@tjwatt.com. Thanks!

Ancient Forests of BC: TJ Watt Photo Exhibition, Presentation, & Fundraiser Oct. 27th, 2022

I'm excited to share that my first major photo exhibition in a decade will be taking place from Oct. 26th-30th at the Mahon Hall on Salt Spring Island!

See: https://ancientforestalliance.org/tj-watt-photo-exhibition-salt-spring-island/

The show will feature 20 large-scale images that will be mounted on aluminum, signed, and for sale as a fundraiser for the Endangered Ecosystems Alliance and Nature-Based Solutions Foundation, organizations that Ancient Forest Alliance regularly partners with.

There will also be a special event night with snacks and presentations from myself and Ken Wu on Thursday, Oct. 27th from 6:30-9:00pm. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the door or online here.

The event open to the public free of charge from 10am-5pm between Oct. 26th-30th as well.

For those who can't attend in person, there is an online store where prints can be purchased.

I hope to see you there and be sure to share the details with any folks you know that might like to go!

'From Above' Aerial Photography Show

Here are some pics from the closing night of 'From Above', an aerial photography show featuring photos from across Vancouver Island shot by Jeremy Koreski Photography, Graeme Owsianski, Christian Coxen, pilot Nick Temos, and myself. A huge thanks goes out to Nick from Pacific Northwest Collective for flying us around to all these rad places (without crashing) and for organizing the printing and framing for the show! Big thanks as well to White Sails Brewing for the delicious beers and for hosting the event + all those who came out and supported the show!

Payzant Creek - Juan De Fuca Trail

Last week I finally made the 3km trek to Payzant Creek along the Juan De Fuca Trail near Port Renfrew. Nestled in a beautiful patch of old-growth forest, a series of small waterfalls flow through the sculpted sandstone creek. Time spent alone in hidden pockets of nature like this are food for the mind and soul. I love how the bubbles spiraling in an eddy on the left showed up in the photo as well. Photos on Display at Axe & Barrel Pub Near Victoria

I'm excited to share that I have 13 photos hanging in the Axe & Barrel Pub just outside Victoria! At the start of summer, the pub's owners approached me looking to create a 'westcoast forest' theme for the building's interior that highlighted local areas. Together we curated a series that includes images of beautiful places such as the Carmanah Valley, Avatar Grove, Big Lonely Doug, Strathcona Park, and the West Coast Trail. The prints - which range in size from 20"x30" to 24"x36" - were printed and mounted on aluminum die-bond, then protected with a laminate coating by Alan at Artbox in Victoria. They did a fantastic job! Hanging them on the uneven surface of the logs was its own challenge though ;)

If you happen to be in the area, pop in for a burger or beer, and check them out! Big thanks again to Ron and Diana for supporting my work as well.
